After a mad dash over the last couple of weeks to get everything ready for a very first market stall, we’ve come out on the other side. Tired, but very happy with results and stoked to meet so many of you.
Last Saturday, the 5th of August, marked Paws at the Park’s Mudgeeraba show. It was a wonderful day filled with happy people, adorable dogs, great stalls and lots of new friends.
We had the pleasure of being right next door to our good friends at Beacon Dog Training, who spent the day offering training advice and guidance to market goers.
Over at the Tails stall, we had a few different things on the go. The first was our Guess The Jellybeans Competition, where the person with the closest guess would win one of our Tall Tales Photography Package and a 12″ x 12″ Canvas Wall Art! Not too shabby for counting a few beans!
The event we were most excited about, however, was our Tails Charity Photobooth. The booth was hand built by us here at Tails Photography, complete with a colourful bubble background and soft grass. Sturdy enough for even the biggest hound!
After setting up our stall and lighting, we waited for the people and pups to come. And come they did! In just a few short hours, we completed fourty-five photo shoots! I’ll admit, it was a little hectic but also amazingly fun. We had the pleasure of meeting plenty of awesome puppy parents and got to interact with so many cute, cheeky and adorable dogs. It’s a hard day in the life of a dog photographer!
The best part? All the profits from the Tails Charity Photobooth went to Paws at the Park’s nominated Charity, The Animal Welfare League Queensland! In those few short hours, we raised a total of $1044! And we couldn’t have done it without you so a massive thank you to everyone who purchased a photo on the day. Your contributions will really help the AWL.
We hope to see you at our next stall, for more competitions and doggy portraits!
